Hi!

My name is Une Solheim, and I'm 12 years old. I live in Norway, but last year the whole family stayed in Santa Barbara because my mom was a visiting scholar at UCSB. I played on the Santa Barbara United team, which was a lot of fun! We participated in many tournaments and made it all the way to Bakersfield (section level)! And after that the team decided to go all the way to my country and to participate in the Norway Cup. We had a lot of fun during the travel! And it was a once in a lifetime trip..... or ???

No—we're going this year too! But even though the team is still called United, there are a lot of new players, but I think the team is really, really good!

I'm going over to Santa Barbara alone to meet the team and play with them. I think they are all better than me in soccer, but I still want to play with them and learn more! And I'm really looking forward to the trip!

Besides soccer, I play handball, dance, and spend a lot of time with my friends. I also have a rat (Mia) and a dog (Basse).
