Hi my name is Savanna and I am 12 years old. I was born here in Santa Barbara, and have been here since This past year was my second time playing on an AYSO team. We were called the Jell-O Jigglers. That was when I originally met our coaches Edward and Daniel, along with their daughters Tiana and Jordan. At the end of the season, when we heard about making a select team, there was no way of stopping us. So, we kept our eye out for some of the best players in town. Our team was soon put together, and later on, we were promoted from a “select team” to a real “all-star team.”

Over the months we've become tighter and tighter, and that certainly has shown in our games. I first thought the farthest we would go was Bakersfield. That was until Une and her family introduced the Norway Cup. I think it will be amazing!!! The opportunity of meeting Norwegian families, playing teams from around the world, and being able to share the experience with some really great friends is a chance of a lifetime!!! I think Santa Barbara United will have a great time in Norway representing Santa Barbara!!!!

Other hobbies I enjoy when I am not playing soccer are singing, dancing, playing the violin, swimming, and hanging with friends. In school I enjoy math and theatre. I can’t wait to make it to Norway!!!
