Hi, I am Meghan Maguire.
I was born in San Diego in 1994 and I have been playing soccer since I was six years old.
I also have two little sisters, their names are Melissa and Michaela.
One of them is 18 months younger than me and the other is five years younger than I am.
I enjoy playing soccer, volleyball, running track, reading, writing, and scrapbooking.
I also really like animals. I have two bunnies and a fish. My bunny's name is Holly.
I named him that after the holly berries because we got them around Christmas time.
I used to have a dog named Sandy, but she died because she had a tumor in her back and we ended up having to put her down.
She was a big part of my life because she had been with me even before I was born.
She was a wonderful pet and absolutely loved going to the beach, just like me.
I love the water and don't know what I would do without it.
My favorite beach of all time is in La Jolla because it is so clear there and it has the most perfect waves.
My Dad, sisters, and I have hermit crab races on the rocks because they have so many tide pools there filled
with all sorts of really cool sea life. I am also a big fan of the Padres and have been to a couple of their games when I am in San Diego.
Another place we go sometimes is Maryland and whenever we go there we visit my mom's family and go to lots of cool places like Hershy Park.
Being on this All Star team has been a GREAT expierience for me, I have been able to make new friends, learn new skills, and become a better soccer player.
This has been an adventure and a memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life!
